About Youvit

Youvit intends to become a leading Emerging Asia based nutrition brand focused on unlocking the potential of the Aspiring Middle Class. Our (ad)venture was founded out of a passion for building consumer health ventures that serve consumers in densely populated economies across Emerging Asia.  

We believe that the nutrition industry is broken and ripe for disruption. Large corporations serving mass market consumers put health-sounding brand names on basically unhealthy products, while the well-informed millennial population in emerging economies is craving for young and innovative brands that offer affordable premium products, that have sustainability in their DNA, and that have a passion for the consumer they serve. Our distribution strategy is based on retail, online sales and partnerships, thereby fostering consistent intake and repeat purchase.  

By developing our own brand of premium products, focused on Health, Beauty and Performance, we bring quality products within reach of the Aspiring Middle Class. By doing so, we can improve their diets and overall health, and consequently unlock their potential. Although data driven decision making and IT play an important role in the development of our venture, we believe in an old school business approach, based on solid fundamentals. Technology is for us an enabler and accelerator versus a key revenue driver. 

Youvit’s first product, the world’s best tasting multivitamin gummy, was launched in April 2017 and quickly became the best-selling vitamin products selling over 1,400,000 sachets in the first 18 months in 15,000 retail locations. We have successfully launched six products with several new products planned with the aim to expand to 35,000 retail outlets by the end of 2023. To scale our operations into new sales channels, new categories and new markets, we intend to board strong new team members who are eager to support us with bringing our journey to the next phase. 


Account Development

  • Built strong partnerships with the portfolio of Local Key Accounts (LKA) across Indonesia.


Existing Channels

  • Built and negotiated strong business agreements consisting of listing, trade and marketing agreements in order to grow profitable sales operations across the Pareto Modern Trade Independent Accounts. Amongst others, retailers include Tip Top, Naga, Hari Hari, Pepito, Frestive, Brastagi, Suzuya, Yogya and Borma.


New Channels

  • Motivated new channels towards product acceptance and negotiated strong partnerships for the execution of the related Business Agreements. Amongst others, channels like Grand Lucky, Kem Chicks, Yomart and Cocomart.


Account Management

  • Grew the sales of YOUVIT within the portfolio of LKA across Indonesia.



  • Sell-in: Achieved quarterly and annual sales target for the key accounts assigned.
  • Service Level: Worked together with the Distribution Management Team to secure and grow volume of sales-in from distributor to retailer to achieve >95% Distributor Service Level across SKUs and secure stock availability at store level to meet both basic planogram capacity and sales-out volume.
  • Sales-out: Worked together with the retail partners to execute upon the stock, visibility and campaign arrangements, in order to grow the volume of sales-out from retailer to end-consumer.


Trade Marketing

  • Negotiated strong partnerships for the execution of the Trade Marketing Plan in collaboration with the Trade Marketing Team. Trade Marketing includes arrangement of product availability, frontliner engagement and product visibility through usage of product displays (a.o. Check-Out-Counter displays) and various Point of Sale Materials (POSM).
  • Undertook the actions above while managing a portfolio budget including TTA, SKP, Product Returns, Materials and Manpower that turns YOU's sales operations profitable.


  • Created a compelling vision and translated it into objective and organized plans. Made decisions that supported the accounts strategy and the achievement of the sales target on the Trading Terms.
  • Analyzed trends in the market and proposed programs and/or activities to anticipate thread and opportunity.
  • Established and monitored Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the accounts and made sure they were met and recommended corrective action if not.


Account Operations

  • Built strong relationships with the different channels in support of the above.
  • Ensured in-store sales and marketing promotions were properly executed and had a passion for being in the field and on the move 24/7!
  • Was ready to jump in and help out on many other related topics.



  • Solid academic background.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment, experienced in account management of consumer (health & beauty) products in LKA across Indonesia is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills; Good command in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills - 'getting-things-done' over a process driven mentality; systematic thinking, strong analytical, communication and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High moral standards and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, commitment to the business.
  • Able to work within an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong feeling of responsibility.
