Youvit’s first product, the world’s best tasting multivitamin gummy, was launched in April 2017 and quickly became the best-selling vitamin products selling over 1,400,000 sachets in the first 18 months in 15,000 retail locations. We have successfully launched six products with several new products planned with the aim to expand to 35,000 retail outlets by the end of 2023. To scale our operations into new sales channels, new categories and new markets, we intend to board strong new team members who are eager to support us with bringing our journey to the next phase.

Our Junior Area Sales Manager will have the following responsibilities: 

  • Distributor Development 
  • AAM | Grow the sales of YOUVIT within the assigned territory for our national distribution partner covering the Modern Trade & General Trade Pharmacy channel, namely Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) and Sinergi Multi Distrindo (SMD) in addition to the local (sub) distributor. 
  • Distributor Purchase | Secure and grow the volume of purchasing by AAM and SMD to meet purchasing targets. Plan monthly allocation of product in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager. 
  • Retailer Purchase | Secure and grow volume of sales-in from AAM and SMD to retailers within the assigned territory, in order to secure stock availability at store level to meet both basic planogram capacity and retailer sales out targets.  
  • Returns | Manage the returns of non-moving products from AAM and SMD within a 2% ratio of the secondary sales value.  
  • Service Level Achievement | Achieve a Service Level Achievement (SLA) from AAM and SMD to retailers above 95% of purchase value.  
  • Stock Management | Ensuring 100% stock allocation for each SKU to each area that is managed by AAM and SMD. 

  • Territory Development 
  • Territory | Grow the sales of YOUVIT within the General Trade and Modern Trade retail within the assigned territory starting with our 2 national distributor partners: AAM & SMD (Pharma and non Pharma) and the local (sub) distributor.  
  • Market Entrance | Built plan of approach to grow sales in General Trade including mapping functional store universe, sales forecasting, budgeting and a creative sales & marketing plan including a mix of trade/consumer promotions, visibility and event organising. 
  • General Trade | General Trade channels include Independent Modern Trade (MTI), Independent Pharmacies (Apotek) and Independent Cosmetic Stores.  
  • Modern Trade | Modern Trade channels include Pharmacy, Hyper & Supermarkets, Non-Food channels, Mini-markets and Local Key Accounts (LKAs). Amongst others, retailers like Watsons, Guardian, K-24, Kimia Farma, Century, Ranch & Farmers, Lion Superindo, Hero Group, Carrefour, Matahari Group, Gramedia, Ace Hardware, Ramayana, Toys Kingdom, Alfamart, Hari Hari, Tip Top & Naga. 
  • New Partners | Built new partnerships with distribution partners and PBFs to grow sales volume, coverage and efficiency of distribution operations. 

  • Manpower Development 
  • YOUVIT Field Team | Recruit, develop and improve the performance of a sales team consisting of Team Leaders, SPG’s & Sales Merchandisers in support of world-class sales operations.  
  • Distributor Sales Team | Monitoring and Development of daily productivity Sales Rep Distributor (Active Outlet, Effective Call, Drop Size, Frequency Call) 
  • Development | Build SOP’s and train the local sales team on product knowledge, selling skills and performance reporting. 
  • Events | Initiate and support the organisation of sales and marketing events both in-store as in public areas to grow strong brand awareness. 
  • Sales Marketing | Ensure in store team operations and sales and marketing promotions are properly executed. 

  • Operations Development 
  • Budgeting | Undertake the actions above while managing a territory budget that turns YOUVIT’s sales operations profitable. 
  • Relationship | Worko closely with distributors, retailers and institutions to grow sales and build strong relationships in support of the above. 
  • Operations | Have a passion o for being in the field and on the move 24/7! 
  • Team Work | Be ready to jump in and help out on many other related topics.


  • Solid academic background (S-1) 
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment, experience in distribution management in FMCG or Pharma Industry; 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills; Good command in Bahasa Indonesia, English is preferred;  
  • Good relationship management skills; 
  • Strong in quantitative and qualitative reasoning and good with numbers. Familiar with project management and reporting; 
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills - 'getting-things-done' over a process driven mentality; systematic thinking, strong analytical, communication and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • High moral standards and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, commitment to the business;
  • Able to work within an ambiguous and fast-paced environment; 
  • Strong feeling of responsibility;
