Responsibilities


 

·       Retail Sales

o  Goal | Grow the sales of Youvit to distributors (primary), retailers (secondary) and shoppers (tertiary) to achieve a cumulative secondary sales value of IDR 100B in 2022.

o  Scope | Develop and execute a sales and distribution strategy while maintaining a departmental budget that turns YOU’s sales operations profitable by December 2024.

o  Team | Recruit, train and develop a team currently consisting of Account Management (4x), Distribution Management (6x), Trade Marketing (3x) and Sales Operations (2x).

o  Partners | Work side by side with the management of the business currently consisting of the CEO, COO and VP of Marketing & Online Sales to realize long-term business goals.

 

·       Account Management

o  Goal | Grow the sales of Youvit within Modern Trade and General Trade retail across Indonesia.

o  Scope | Negotiate strong partnerships across new and existing sales channels including Pharmacy, Hyper & Supermarket, Minimarkets, Non Food, Local Key Accounts, Modern Trade Independent, Independent Pharmacies, General Trade Cosmetics.

o  Team | Recruit, train and develop a team currently consisting of 1x National Key Account Manager, 2x Senior Key Account Managers and 2x Key Account Executives.

o  Partners | Build strong relationships with various retailers including Watsons, Guardian, K-24, Kimia Farma, Century, Ranch & Farmers, Lion Superindo, Hero Group, Carrefour, Matahari Group, Gramedia, Ace Hardware and Alfamart.

 

·       Distribution Management

o  Goal | Grow the sales volume, increase the coverage, and improve the operational efficiency of our distribution activities across Indonesia.

o  Scope | Built strong partnerships with new and existing distribution partners and develop in-house capability for direct to retailer deliveries by PT YOU Indonesia.

o  Team | Recruit, train and develop a team currently consisting of 1x National Distribution Manager, 1x Senior Area Sales Manager and 4x Area Sales Executives.

o  Partners | Build strong relationships with various distributors including PT AAM, PT SMD, PT MHF, PT SDI and PT ALS.

 

·       Trade Marketing

o  Goal | Achieve retailer purchasing and sales according to target for each sales channel (Modern Trade, General Trade), product category (Health, Beauty, Kids) and SKU.

o  Scope | Construct a bottom-up sales forecast supported by a comprehensive Trade Marketing Plan to meet quarterly and annual sales targets for the Modern Trade and General Trade retail portfolio. 

o  Team | Recruit, train and develop a team currently consisting of 1x Channel Manager Modern Trade, 1x Channel Manager General Trade and 1x Field Team Trainer and a field team of X Team Leaders, X SPGs, X Merchandisers and X Mystery Shoppers.

o  Partners | Work side by side with the Marketing team ensure the Trade Marketing Plan is on trend and the campaign calendar is executed according to timeline.

 

·       Sales Operations

o  Goal | Achieve 100% Service Level Achievement from Youvit to our distribution partners.

o  Scope | Translate the sales forecast into a production forecast for both product and Point of Sale Material to ensure availability according to needs.

o  Team | Recruit, train and develop a team currently consisting of 1x National Operations Manager and 1x Operations Analyst.

o  Partners | Work side by side with the Supply Chain and Product Development team to manage production planning according to timeline.

 

·       Business Development

o  Goal | Achieve further sales growth and cost efficiencies through ideation, development, and implementation of new business development activities.

o  Scope | Drive the development of new channels (a.o. coffee shops, gyms, schools), new partnerships, new product development in line with shopper interest and new sales management best practices such as the adoption of a Customer Relationship Management System (Salesforce).

o  Partners | Work together with the B2B team to drive new partnerships and the Product Development Team to drive new product development in line with shopper interest.

 

 

 

Qualifications

·       Solid academic background, with a passion for brand building and business management.

·       A minimum of ten years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment, experience in sales of consumer (health & beauty) products is preferred.

·       Excellent communication and writing skills; Good command in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

·       Demonstrated strong analytical skills - 'getting-things-done' over a process driven mentality; systematic thinking, strong analytical, communication and excellent problem-solving skills.

·       High moral standards and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, commitment to the business.

·       Able to work within an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.

·       Strong feeling of responsibility.
