Sales & Distribution Management Trainee
- Rotation | During a 2-year program rotate across 2-3 different territories in Indonesia with the objective to grow the sales of Youvit in the available Modern Trade and General Trade retail by working closely with distributors, retailers and institutions.
- Sales & Distribution | Learn the ropes of sales & distribution management by leading (1) account, (2) distribution and (3) manpower management within the assigned territory while being supported by various industry veterans within the team.
(1) Account Management
- National Accounts | Grow the sales of Youvit within a portfolio of National Accounts including Pharmacy, Hyper & Supermarkets, Non-Food channels & Mini-markets.
- Local Accounts | Penetrate and grow the sales of Youvit within a portfolio of Local Accounts including Modern Trade Independent and Apoteks.
(2) Distribution Management
- Market Development | Built plan of approach to grow sales in Modern Trade and General Trade within the assigned territory including mapping functional store universe, sales forecasting, budgeting and a creative sales & marketing plan including a mix of trade/consumer promotions, visibility and event organizing.
- Distribution | Closely coordinate distribution operations, grow the sales and increase the coverage in collaboration with our distributor partners.
(3) Manpower Management
- Sales Team | Recruit and develop the performance of a field team consisting of Team Leaders, Sales Promotion Girls & Merchandisers.
- Development | Built SOP’s and train local sales team on product knowledge, selling skills and performance reporting.
- Events | Initiate and support the organization of sales and marketing events both in-store as in public areas to grow strong brand awareness
(4) Team Operations
- Budgeting | Undertake the actions above while managing a departmental budget that turns YOU’s sales operations profitable.
- In-store Execution | Ensure in store sales and marketing promotions are properly executed and have a passion for being in the field and on the move 24/7!
- Team Work | Be ready to jump in and help out on many other related topics.

Functional
- Up till 5 years working experience with a solid academic background from top 10 university in Indonesia combined with international experience while studying abroad
- Enthusiasm for FMCG and intellectual curiosity
- Quick analytical thinker with strong interest in sales & distribution operations
Technical
- Experience in usage of Microsoft Office: including Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Experience in FMCG, retail, is a bonus
- Excellent communication and writing skills; Good command in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong in quantitative and qualitative reasoning and good with numbers. Familiar with project management and reporting
- Good people skills, team orientation, quality-driven, highly committed and professional
