Responsibilities

1. Data Engineering – Retail data

• Data Architecture | Support development of data architecture to build a data-driven company culture. Amongst others, this includes building the necessary infrastructure for data collection, data ingestion, data warehousing, and data cleaning in support of supply chain management, finance, marketing and sales.
• ETL | Set up ETL structure to process data from various sources to clean data in data warehouse.
• Data governance | Ensure availability, usability, integrity and security of data.
• Data Collection | Strategize and execute upon innovative ways of data collection to support improved understanding of business operations and end consumer.

2. Business Process Improvement

• Business Development | Project based business development in support of sales team productivity
• BI Tools | Manage, adopt and build out functionality of set of BI productivity tools.
• Hands-on Execution | Embrace the start-up dynamics of swift changes, in-store activity and cross departmental collaboration.
• Relationship | Building strong relationships with the internal and external stakeholders in support of the above.
• Teamwork | Be ready to jump in and help out on many other related topics.

Qualifications

• Junior professional with 1~2 years of experience in a data engineering role. Candidate must have a solid academic background; majoring in computer science, information systems or engineering from top 10 university in Indonesia
• Excellent communication and writing skills; Good command in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
• Strong in quantitative and qualitative reasoning and good with numbers. Familiar with project management and reporting
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills - 'getting-things-done' over a process driven mentality; systematic thinking, strong analytical, communication and Excellent problem-solving skills;
• High moral standards and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, commitment to the business;
• Able to work within an ambiguous and fast-paced environment;
• Strong feeling of responsibility;

Must Have experience:

• Excellent understanding of SQL
• Good understanding of Python
• Good understanding of ETL processes
• Experience with data pipelining tools (Fivetran, Airflow, …)
• Experience with a modern cloud computing solution (Google BigQuery, AWS, Snowflake, …)
• Experience building up a data infrastructure

Nice to Have experience: Exposure to FMCG/retail, Salesforce, and Excel Power Query
